What is the Auburn University Crafters License?
The Auburn University Crafters License was created for small crafters or low volume producers. If approved, the crafter may use Auburn University trademarks and logos on non-apparel items, apparel items are not approved.
The Auburn University Crafters License is administered by the Collegiate Licensing Company via Community Connect.
Those participating in the program pay a rights fee that is commensurate with the amount of product they plan to produce. The minimum fee is $150.00 per contract term.
Anyone using the Auburn University trademarks and logos on products must first have permission from Auburn University.
Who is eligible to participate in the Auburn University Crafters License?
The crafters program is limited to crafters and is not created for businesses with retail brick and mortar storefronts.
Crafter must sell non-apparel items, they must not sell apparel items.
If I’m interested in being part of the Auburn University Crafters License, how do I apply?
Those interested in applying for the Auburn University Crafters License must fill out an agreement via Collegiate Licensing Company’s Community Connect program. A minimum fee of $150 is due per contract term.
Crafters must submit each design for approval by Auburn University Trademark Licensing. Auburn University will consider conceptual designs prior to Crafters completing the artwork.
