Auburn Trademark Licensing

Auburn University’s Office of Trademark Management & Licensing protects and manages Auburn names, logos, and other brand marks. The university licenses its brand to about 500 companies that make apparel, headwear, and other consumer products. CLC has managed Auburn’s licensing program since 1981. Royalties from official products support academic and athletic student scholarships.

Anyone who wants to make or sell items with Auburn marks, including “War Eagle,” needs a license or must buy from an Auburn licensee.
