Blue 84

Blue 84 was established in 1984, starting as a small t-shirt printing operation in Detroit Lakes, Minnessota. Original t-shirt designs, only a few at that time, were sold at their modest beach store. Blue 84 also printed custom designs for local resorts, businesses and restaurants.

Blue 84 today has grown from a modest beach store to 325,000 square foot facility were production and warehousing take place. The facility is equipped with everything need to create custom artwork products at large scale, from screenprint presses to multi-head embroidery machines. Working at Blue 84 are over 700 team memebers which impressively produce up to 35,000 items per day. Many products stocked at Blue 84 are made in the USA and their own dye plant is able to dye the garments.

Blue 84 is one of the top collegiate licensed vendors, partnered with more than 1,000 colleges and universities. Just as in the past, Blue 84 today is focused on their customers, with a strong belief in partnership and building relationships.

Blue 84 has a tremendous focus on their collegiate business. This includes a division of the company dedicated to hats operating under the brand of Zephyr. Another division focused on the highest quality stickers. And specific to garments, Blue 84 has their Reserve 84 brand, that is all about high-end materials, on-trend styles and unique vintage artwork. Even more, Blue 84 is highly successful in their co-brand projects that partner with companies like Life is Good, Disney, Volkswagen, and others.
