September 10, 2023

Collegiate Licensing Company, a leading collegiate licensing company, collaborated with IMG, and the organizer of New York Fashion Week to present the 11th UofNYFW program during New York Fashion Week. This unique educational initiative hosted 26 students from 15 universities, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the fashion industry. It included access to runway presentations, panel discussions, and networking with industry leaders.

Students enjoyed exclusive experiences, such as attending runway shows featuring designers like Bevza and Son Jung Wan, visiting the Tresemme Style Studios, engaging in Q&A sessions with WME Fashion representatives, and touring the production of a fashion show at Spring Studios.

In addition, students spent a day at Champion, a renowned athletic fashion brand and university licensee, learning about clothing development and visiting the Champion Flagship Store in Soho.

Participating universities covered students' expenses, and institutions like Arizona State University, Florida State University, and University of Texas at Austin took part. Students shared their experiences on social media using #UofNYFW and were encouraged to share their newfound knowledge with peers back on campus.
