ICLA Licensing Names 2025 Hall of Fame Additions

ICLA Licensing, The International Collegiate Licensing Association, unveil Craig Westemeier, Tammy Purves and Marting Ludwig as members of the ICLA Hall of Fame.
The three inductees will be officially added into the ICLA Licensing Hall of Fame on June 9, at the 2025 Convention occurring at the World Center Marriot in Orlando, FL.
Below is a brief summary of the three inductees and their assocation with the collegiate licensing industry.
Purves
Tammy Purves has worked in the collegiate licensing industry for 30 years, dedicated to brining collegiate brands to new heights in the marketplace. Purves’ career has had roles as a university licensing director and agency leader, accomplishing notable goals at Georgia Tech beginning in 1994. Purves worked to elevate Georgia Tech’s collegiate licensing program, developing strategies to partner with athletics and the campus bookstore. Also acheived was increasing the visibility of the Georgia Tech international program, where the school achieved top seller status for Crossland Enterprises.
Ludwig
In 2007, Ludwig began his career when he created a network for Big East Conference members to partner and promote their collegiate brands. This creation provided a framework for how ICLA Licensing and NACMA operate their efforts to produce industry growth. While at the University of Cincinnati, Ludwig created an analytics driven campus consumption program which resulted in reducing the vendor list from 40 vendors to just three, this analytics tool was adopted by dozens of other colleges and universities. Furthering the use of analytics, Ludwig created a revolution in category management, this action helped to secure exclusive licensing partnerships with leading brands like Top of the World and Knights Apparel.
Westemeier
When you think of teamwork within the collegiate licensing industry, Westemeier is the example. Known for being generous with his time and eagerness to engage in discussion, he adds to every conversation, no matter the size of the licensing program or expertise. Westemeier stays down to earth even while holding the preestigous position at the University of Texas, his extensive career has provided him the deepest understnaing of the complexities of collegiate licensing.
